Shipping & Returns Policy
Free Ground Shipping on Steno Machines
Free UPS ground shipping available within U.S.A except to AK, HI & PR.
Shipping
We use the following carriers UPS, FEDEX & USPS because their tracking, insurance and time sensitive services. If the shipping address is different from the billing address you must include the shipping address phone. We typically ship your order on the same day if received by 12 PM, Eastern Standard Time.
- All orders are subject to credit and address verification. For your protection, all UPS shipments require a customer signature upon delivery
Returns
Acculaw products are all refurbished if not brand new. All equipment is tested, prior to shipping, passing all performance tests. In the event an item subject to a return is not up to Acculaw's quality standards or negotiated terms prior to purchase, Acculaw at its own discretion, will replace, repair or come to a mutual agreement with the customer. Some product's characteristics and qualities do not qualify for return, refund nor credit, such as digital goods (Programs, CDs, etc.), service, training, consultation, support, and perishable goods. All refurbished writers include at least a one year warranty to prove Acculaw's confidence of quality and performance.
All items that are subject to return for exchange, refund or credit must be without exception consulted and then approved by Acculaw before sending back purchased item to Acculaw. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must accompany any returns for proper credit to be given. All returns must be reported and made before 30 days after date of purchase. Purchases made my by mistake or error by customer is subject to 20% processing fee. All shipping costs of returned items are the responsibility of the customer. Only exception is when shipment is dead on arrival (DOA). Acculaw will pay regular ground shipping back to customer. Any product returned without an RA number, incomplete, and not in the same or resalable condition will be refused and/or shipped back to the customer without refund, credit nor exchange incurring in additional processing fees.
All Ebay auction items are subject to Ebay's and Acculaw's terms and conditions. Some of our Ebay auctions are sold "as is" and are not subject to return.
Media Returns
- No Returns or Exchanges on Media Items (Books, Tapes,CDs & other media)
RMA
Before sending any packages back call 1-800-251-5529 or e-mail us at rma@acculaw.com to get an RMA.(items without RMA will not be accepted)
- Write RMA# & Contact information on box.
- Include a description of the problem inside box.
Packing Instructions
Steno Machines or other products must be packed with at least 5 inches of foam, bubblepack, peanuts or newspaper all around, and then further packed in a plastic bag and then boxed. This will provide the best assurance of the equipment staying intact.
NOTE: We recommend using UPS for all return shipping. This carrier provides package tracking, insurance and proof of delivery to us.
